PAKENHAM PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of an extra ordinary Meeting of the Council
held on Monday, 22 September 2021 at 5pm Pakenham Village Hall

Present: Cllr Painter, Cllr Davey, Cllr Palfrey, Cllr Sargent and Cllr Sidebotham.
No Members of the public were in attendance.

1 - Record Councillors' apologies for absence:-
Apologies received and accepted from Cllrs Dorling and Bagnell.

2 - Declarations of interest: No declarations of interest received.

3 - Public Forum: No members of the pubic in attendance.

4 - To consider the approval of the minutes of the last meetings:-
The minutes of the meeting held on 15th September 2021 were approved to be signed as a true record.

5 - To confirm memorial request:-
All Councillors confirmed all in agreement for memorial on plot A17 of matt light grey granite with simple inscription and flower vase.

6 - Planning Applications to comment:-
i. DC/20/1145/OUT Dwelling adjacent to Newbury, Fen Road
1no. dwelling, garage and vehicular access as amended by plan received 6 September 2021.
Council discussed and all in agreement no objection. Council discussed and agreed to add a comment: the parish council believe the bungalow 'Newbury' has been sold and the annex is now being lived in as a separate dwelling which we believe has not been given planning permission for such.

7 - To raise a cheque in regards pro forma invoice from Defibshop:-
A cheque no: 1704 was raised for £2286 for defibrillator and two cabinets.

8 - Councillors' reports and items for future agenda:-
The Chair advised Council of the draft comment to be sent to West Suffolk Council in regards the local plan matrix as discussed and agreed at the meeting of 15 September, all Councillors happy with the comments to be sent.
Cllr Davey advised the hedge at Upper Town required cutting back as visibility for vehicles is impaired. The Clerk to write to the landowner.

9 - Date of next meeting:-
The date of the next scheduled meeting to be confirmed as Wednesday, 20th October 2021.

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 5.50pm
