Minutes of the meeting held on 5 AUGUST 2005
THE PAVILION - Pakenham

Present: Cllr J Mangnall, Cllr H Painter, Cllr D Dorling, Cllr R Griffin and Mrs J Brookman (clerk).

APOLOGIES: Cllr P Smith, Cllr L Patterson and Cllr M Sargent.

1.0 - DECLARATION OF INTERESTS:-
Cllr Dorling declared an interest in planning application SE/05/02062 Grimstone Cottage, Grimstone End, Pakenham.

The meeting was convened.

2.0 - PLANNING APPLICATIONS:-
SE/05/02075 Redcastle Farm, Brand Road, Great Barton. Applicant - Louise Crane. Listed Building Application - Change of roof materials from asbestos to red clay pantiles. No observations.

SE/05/02027 14 Manor Garth, Pakenham. Applicant - Mr Harris. Erection of conservatory to side elevation. No observations.

Cllr Dorling left the meeting and did not return.

SE/05/02062 Grimstone Cottage, Grimstone End, Pakenham. Applicant - Mr & Mrs S Askew. Listed Building Application - Internal alterations including
(i) remove fireplace and form new fireplace to sitting room
(ii) replace existing modern staircase
(iii) infill open studwork to sitting room and landing
(iv) form cupboard beside chimney in sitting room
(v) form cupboard back to door D2 to form display cupboard in drawing room.
No observations.

3.0 - OPEN FORUM:-
It was confirmed that it had not been possible to get further estimates to erect a lamp post at the car park at St Mary's Church. It was therefore agreed that the parish council contact the church warden, Nr Nigel Farthing and ask for the lamp post to be included in the work the church is having carried out and the cost notified as part of that work.

Cllr Griffin had been asked to propose on behalf of The Fox that the parish council provide a Christmas tree to replace the dead specimen near The Fox. It was thought unwise to plant so near to the adjacent properties.

4.0 - DATE OF NEXT MEETING:-
The next meeting will be held on Monday 5 September 2005 commencing at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall, Pakenham.
