It was confirmed that it had not been possible
to get further estimates to erect a lamp post at the car park at
St Mary's Church. It was therefore agreed that the parish council
contact the church warden, Nr Nigel Farthing and ask for the lamp
post to be included in the work the church is having carried out
and the cost notified as part of that work.
Cllr Griffin had been asked to propose on behalf of The Fox that the parish council provide a Christmas tree to replace the dead specimen near The Fox. It was thought unwise to plant so near to the adjacent properties.
