Pakenham WI News - January 2025

Thursday 9th January 2025
Our first meeting of the year was our Annual quiz.  Margo (a member), her husband plus her hearing dog Linus were our quizzers. Teams of four, screen with questions and pictures then answers.  There were 6 rounds, 10 questions in each. The topic was cheese – yes, 60 questions on cheese!  The variety of questions was amazing! To aid our thinking we had cheese, nibbles and wine on the tables! It was a really enjoyable and fun evening.

Our next meeting is on Thursday 13th February, doors open at 7pm.  Our entertainer/speaker is Lindsay Barrell who is a Burlesque dancer – a great entertainer.
Refreshments follow the speaker and it will give you an opportunity to chat with members. Do come and join us. 

“Ladies who Lunch” starts again this month.

Our Jumble Sale is on Saturday 22nd March: 2-4pm in the Village Hall.  We will be collecting jumble on the day before and items can also be brought to the Village Hall on the Saturday morning.
