Pakenham WI News - July 2022

JULY 14th 2020 - ANNUAL GARDEN PARTY
We held our Annual Garden Party at the Fox Pub in Pakenham. 30 of us gathered around tables in the gorgeous garden and chatted with naturally a glass of wine, before the barbeque was ready. Having experienced the barbeque before we were not disappointed. So beautifully cooked and tasty with a choice of meats, buns and several salads. All this and no washing up! The chef and helpers were thanked and we gave out the Birthday posies. More chatting and mixing with members. Naturally the sun shone, though did turn chilly. A great evening. Unfortunately, our President, Mary Kirby, could not join us as she had just had an operation - we wish her a speedy recovery.

Our speaker in August is Tony Strowger who makes bespoke and remodelled jewellery.
