25TH SEPTEMBER 2021 - MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING
A massive thank you to all who contributed and supported the event, the cakes and savouries were amazing, the staff were totally brilliant and the customers wonderful and so generous. The footfall was far less than previous years, but we were still able to donate £481.00 to this great cancer charity.

OCTOBER 14TH 2021 – THE UGANDAN ORPHANGE UPDATE
The truly inspiring Alison Brain was our guest for the evening. On return visit number three Alison told of the orphanage and schools recent struggle through the pandemic and how it had emerged unscathed. The heart rendering stories of the plight of many orphans was so touching, and the efforts of Alison and her team to give them a normal start in life so brilliant.
The local women have been taught to be self-sufficient by making bead necklaces and bracelets, bags, aprons and many other colourful items which Alison has imported into the UK to sell on their behalf. Much to the delight of us all they were all on sale in the hall.
We were also highly delighted to welcome three more new members. Thank you to everyone for a brilliant evening.
