September 8th 2016 – Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses.
WI Meeting 20160908Another brilliant evening at Pakenham WI, we were delighted to welcome several guests and even more delighted to sign up another new member, welcome aboard Val. Our speaker Jason Salisbury gave us a humorous and interesting look into his life and his cheese making story. This delightful gentleman totally captivated his audience for nearly an hour, apart from laughs and giggles at his humour not a sound could be heard. His, was a story of true passion for all things dairy, and an example to all that so much could be achieved by determination and hard work. After the talk the tasting began of his 3 varieties of Suffolk cheeses, it was superb. We will have the opportunity to see his premises and cheese making processes in the Spring, when we take up the offer of his kind invitation.
The tea team were Julie, Lisa and Doreen, great eats girls, thank you.
