Doreen HeadThis month was tinged with  huge sadness at Pakenham WI as we lost our wonderful member Doreen Head. Doreen sadly lost her brave battle with cancer on June 24th. This truly wonderful and talented lady, will be greatly missed by us all.  We were able to say our fond farewells at her funeral this week.

July 13th 2017 – The Annual Garden Party Supper
20170713-WI Garden PartyThis year’s supper was held in the truly beautiful gardens of Kate and Andrew McKenzie, thank you guys for having us.
The food, drink, company, and amazingly for Pakenham WI  the weather was spectacular. 

July 29th 2017 – F/P Show Cream Teas
All is in hand to provide the very best of cream teas to all would attend this much awaited village social event.

August 10th 2017 – The Story of The Bury Stray Cat Fund
After adopting my beautiful little Martha from the BSE Stray Cat Fund last November and hearing of the remarkable work this local charity provides to our homeless feline friends, I felt members would like to hear some of the heart rendering accounts of the many rescues they perform. Joan Smith is our guest for the evening to tell these amazing stories.
Members will also be treated to a live performance from The Bassey Girls prior to their fee paid booking at Wickhambrook in October.

August 16th 2017 – The Summer Outing to East Ruston Gardens.
We are now fully booked for the trip to see the much acclaimed gardens at East Ruston.

THE WORLDS BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING  - 30TH SEPTEMBER 2017
The coffee morning will now be in memory of our beautiful member Doreen.
