June 2nd/3rd 2012 - JUBILEE WEEKEND
We were pleased to lend a hand in decorating the village hall for the Saturday dance and the Sunday party. Thank you to all our ladies who provided yummy cakes for the children's tea. It was good to be part of a great village occasion.

June 14th 2012 - GARDEN PARTY
Well again the weather had the upper hand, so we turned the village hall into a garden for the evening. Bunting, drapes, parasols, flowers and even a birdbath, all came together to do just that. Scrumptious food, plenty of drink and good company made it a lovely occasion.

July 12th 2012 - ONE FAMILY'S EXPERIENCE OF THE HOLOCAUST
A very special event when we welcome Eva Clarke, who will share with us her family's precious photos and memories of that bleak time in the history of Europe. All ladies welcome.

July 21st 2012 - CHURCH FETE
The W.I. will be there doing something I'm sure. Make sure your youngsters know about the miniature garden competition. Details on the Church Fete flyer and adverts.

August 9th 2012 - MY FARM AND OTHER ANIMALS
This month we are going out for the evening to a small farm in Gt. Barton. The owner, Paul Ellis, will tell us about the unusual breeds he keeps.

August 30th 2012 - BURGHLEY HORSE TRIALS
A grand day out to somewhere a little different. With the splendid and glamorous backdrop of Burghley House and retail therapy galore. Dressage and pony club horses to watch as well. Open to all (Yes the gentlemen too). Cost is about £17 covering coach and entry. Please contact Celia on 01359 230909.

September 29th 2012 - RACE NIGHT
This should be fun. Full details in the September issue. Please just make a note of the date in your diary today.
