August 11th 2016 – For the Love of Dogs.
It was a fabulous, fabulous evening. Kate Brewster and Dalton joined us from the Dogs Trust at Snetterton. This wonderful young woman and her canine companion gave us an in-depth insight into the work of the trust. The living conditions and care given to all their inhabitants was incredible. Under floor heating, special play areas, out door activity centres and even a special house set up like a home for the older in mates. We intend to help all we can with some fund raising for this magnificent charity. A visit to the dogs home is planned for the near future.
We were delighted to welcome so many guests, who we hope to meet again at future meetings.
The evening’s tea girls were Bridget, Celia and Pat, thank you girls the eats were delicious.
The climax of a great evening was a visit to The Fox, open at last for the much needed after meeting drinks, thank you Nick.
