Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday, 10th April, 2013 at 7.30pm At the Village Hall

Present: Cllr M Sargent (Vice-Chairman); Cllr D Dorling, Cllr C Palfrey, Cllr I Brookman, Cllr R Griffin, Mrs S Brown (clerk) took the minutes.

1 - Apologies for absence: Cllr H Painter (Chairman); Cllr M Bagnell

2 - Declarations of interest: No declarations of interest

3 - Public Forum:-
One member of the public attended the meeting. The parish council was thanked for their help in getting the shed for extra storage at the village hall.
It was asked if there were any further developments with The Fox public house. Council advised the owner had met with the Borough Planning Department before Christmas and Council was waiting for the owner to put in plans. Concern was expressed over the delay as the building was becoming derelict. The clerk to speak to the planning department to check on any developments.
It was asked if sustainable, affordable homes could also be built outside the settlement area. Cllr Griffin agreed this could be looked at. Putting as many options forward as possible including outside the settlement area were all areas that should be looked at.

4 - Planning applications:-
SE/13/0317/LBCA – Bell House, The Street
Listed building application – Enlargement of existing garage including replacing roof and gable wall (revised scheme to previously approved SE/12/1433/LBCA).
Councillors studied the plans and unanimously had no objection to this application.

No further planning applications had been received.

5 – Church Green Wood:-
Cllr Dorling informed Council he had received two quotes for the additional fencing at Church Green Wood. One for over £200 and the other for £150. Item to be put on next agenda.

6 - Date of next meeting:–
Wednesday 16th May, 2013 following the Annual Parish meeting at 7pm in the Village Hall.

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 8pm
